Breaking Through the “Grass” Ceiling - Nov 22,2012

This weeks special guest is award winning designer, Susan Olinger, President of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). Susan will discuss the importance of being a ceritifed landscape designer and the value of joining an organization like the APLD. From board member to NJ-APLD President to her Presidency at the national level, Susan has seen her association, and the industry itself, grow dramatically over the years (although she wont say how many). We will also talk about her passion for landscape design, and how the APLD has helped her throughout her career, as well as the challenges that she faces as a landscape designer and President of the APLD. Like many of you, I am very interested to hear her opinons on what she sees as the future for landscape design and landscape designers...and maybe learn a few of her "Trade Secrets".
