GoAtS instead of ShEeP!! What has become of the ChUrCh today??

I was thinking yesterday about Sheep....ya know, they aren't very smart... but Goats...good grief they are just plain dumb.... they don't care about rules, if they don't like what you say or do they'll nail you with their head and they eat ANYTHING.....You're saying "Matt, what's your point....." How bout this... aren't we (as Christians) supposed to be sheep following the Sheppard? Are we sheep, some are...but most seem to be the goat - God's moral law means nothing, they will charge at you if you offend them, and they will feed on any doctrine that fills their ego. They say "I am no longer under the law...that's the old covenant"...not even realizing that God NEVER changes and neither does His word. Jesus didn't do away with the law but HE fulfilled it - (meaning the penalty was paid and those who accept Christ as their Lord can walk out of the Eternal Courtroom of Justice FREE only because their fine was paid in full. They are quick to point out "YOU are JUDGING me" when in fact God has commanded "Judge according to righteous judgment" (meaning we make a moral judgment on sin) and tragically they sit in a building labeled a "church" feed on a bill of goods that is passed off as Gospel, get all warm and fuzzy inside with the Pastor sending them away with a "We can't wait to see ya back again next week" as they go back to their own world Mon-Sat, then comes Sunday again... doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over...you get the point..... The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.....um sound familiar? It's time for a change folks..don't ya think? How about instead of bringing sinners to meetings (inviting to church) WE START TAKING MEETINGS TO SINNERS! (BE THE CHURCH)
