Faye was only 12 years old when she witnessed her father's final moments after a suicide attempt. She lost her mother to alcohol and a shortened life in her 20s. “Easy” is definitely not the word to use when describing Faye's life. Fast forward to her marriage … With two children and an abusive, alcoholic husband to come home to, Faye had given church one final, desperate chance to prove itself to her. As the pastor preached on, Faye looked from person to person. She didn't like what she saw. She made a decision: She would never come back to that church or any other!
