Having a career? Being a good mother? What ever your definition of either - is it possible to do both? The costs of child care can be prohibitive to either going back to work, or even the consideration of having children? It can be a huge dilemma. For many women it is not so much the huge costs of child care that are the issue - it is the fact that if they do go back to work and their careers, they do not have the time to do either well. The stress can have immediate health impact and cause dissatisfaction in all areas of their lives. For some women they feel as though they have no choice and everyone loses out, and everyone feels at times quite drastic. Are there options? Clara Gibson of Drastic to Fantastic Blog talk Radio - interviews Sandra Kanfer Clark who ran a successful marketing and branding business before she had her two daughters. Child care was very expensive, but it was the fact that she was rarely home to see her daughters and to be part of their waking lives that forced her hand. Sandra found a solution that not only reduced her stress levels, it enabled her to improve the health of her whole family, gave her all the time she needed with her girls, and enabled her to use her marketing and branding expertise in ways that she had not anticipated. Listen in on tuesday 8th July at 11.00 - to find out what Sandras solution from drastic to fantastic was!
