'The Matt Duffin Show' - Dance Walker Donna! - Jul 08,2013

Here, we go again. I dont know what I want more - Jasmine or KLXY to start. So, provided no Skype or Blog Talk issues, Amara Riccio and Donna Parquette will be on the TMDS tonight - on her Birthday! Another year Donna, and may it be happy! Oh yeah, you folks, Amara, America and me too. From our interruption last week, Amara gracefully will complete her story of completing high school with a TBI, and preparations for college. Donna, er, Dance Walker is a BI survivor of brain stem tumor conditions, eventually discovered and surgery successful in 2007; but while in a rehab hospital, Donna fell during walking exercises, and hit her noggin so hard, another yet deeper TBI occurred. I asked if she tried to do the jitter-bug. Contributions may have been also a previous car wreck and a fall - but no one checked for brain injury. Her story is incredible, but gets so interestingly strong in her battle. Unable and learning to walk again (I can identify); Donna attached headphones, and began walking in Dance steps as it gave her confidence. The Burlington, Vermont resident dance thru town now 5 days a week has been a feature and award winner on local television. She will tell more, she is very fun! My kind of guest, and just may be your kind of host one day. A survivor with drive and determination beyond reproach. Thats why shes known as "The Dance Walker". Call in tonight, be inspired and have discussions with both. At least that should shut me up. Oh yeah, its talk radio - I can DJ with the best of em in that regard! So, we may do something else.
