LearnMeScience: Space Oddities Pt. 3-Life

We know life shouldn't exist here on Earth.  Or anywhere for that matter.  But it does.  Life is everywhere on Earth.  From the hotest and most acidic floors of our deepest oceans to the glaciers in the Arctic, to the microbes that are living on the Martian rover Curiosity.  Tonight we are talking about the greatest mystery in the universe.  What is life and where did it come from?  We will trace our history back to our days as single-celled bodies to the complex thinkers we are today.  LearnMeScience chemistry editor Ryan will talk about a series of experiments that replicated the early conditions on Earth.  Finally, we will speculate where and what other life in our universe is like.  Join us for the conclusion of our Oddities of the Universe series, Thursday February 25th and 9 PM MST.
