What today generally called, ‘Afrocentrism’ grew out of the work of an African and Afro-American scholars in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It opened a door into its modern form due to the activism of Afro-American intellectuals in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement and in the development of African-American Studies programs in universities. Afrocentrism has a strong tendency toward being branded Eurocentrism. The use of foreign ideology educating the African American result in a crippled African-American mind. Foreign scholars teach educated fools information which is loaded with traditional lies of the Christian church and the myth of all things created and made coming out of Africa. This path, the African American is on will leave nothing for future generations. While living off sugary traditions, you can’t help to wonder, what kind of world ‘THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN’ will leave their children.
