Ms. Hood represents the Chamber and its members in promoting economic growth and enhancing quality of life for the community. Kathy Hood is also CEO of Marvelous Light Empowerment Association, Inc. (MLEA) and the Annual Dare To Be Beautiful Weekend Retreat. D2BB was birthed out of the revelation that God gave to her concering women and their unique ability to become mighty women. MLEA also provides services and resources to help empower, encourage and equip families to prosper. She developed Rare Jewel University, a mentoring program for young ladies/adults. Rare Jewel isnt just a program or activity; its a digital comic, Apple application. Rare Jewel is a symbol of womens power and their inner strength.
