What I want for Christmas and it's not my two front teeth!

The Christmas music is in full swing and the antlers are on the cars of crazy holiday drivers. If I could tell Santa my Christmas wish it would be for the families of the two slain NYPD officers, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and any other families who have lost loved ones. The ones who have lost the loved ones to police I would hope for justice even if there has been no indictment does not mean the fight is over. I would wish that the protesters honor the call to halt until the officers have been laid to rest but I would say to stay the course and proceed with wisdom when you do return. I wish that those of us who are on the opposite of the issues could meet in the middle with understanding. I would also wish that we could have an honest conversation about race. I am simply wishing for peace on Earth! Is that too much to ask?
